I-90 & US-95 INTERCHANGE

The proposed interchange design is a single-point urban interchange (SPUI). This is the same interchange type located at US-95 and SH-53 north of Hayden.

Traffic is projected to exceed the capacity of the existing US-95 diamond interchange by 2030.

Benefits

Improves efficiency and increases capacity by 25% more than diamond interchanges.

Meets travel demands beyond the design year 2045 in conjunction with local road intersection improvements.

Reduces traffic signal cycles and delays by allowing all left-turn movements to be controlled by a single signal.

Decreases potential for crashes.
